Press ReleaseRelease Date: April 7, 2008 Walk-In Hours Announced at Richmond Area Health Center Richmond- Richmond Area Health Center is pleased to announce that, effective May 1, walk-in hours will be available to current Richmond Area Health Center patients with acute medical problems. Walk-in hours will be held from 7 to 8 AM on Monday and Thursday mornings. Linda Hermans, MD, will be available at these times to see patients. Walk-in visits are for acute medical needs only. Examples of acute needs are:
Visits will be limited to one problem per patient. Medical conditions involving multiple or ongoing symptoms should be scheduled for a regular office visit. Walk-in appointments are available on a first-come first-served basis so patients are encouraged to arrive early. Patients must be signed in by 7 am for walk-in appointments. Once all the appointment times are filled, patients may be asked to make an appointment for a later time. Richmond Area Health Center is part of the HealthReach Community Health Centers family.
