Rangeley Family Medicine opened in 1994 with the tremendous support of an active community board. Their vision was to bring high quality medical services to the region so residents and visitors could access health care close to home. A year later, the center moved to a state-of-the-art medical building on Dallas Hill Road offering a full range of primary care services to patients of all ages.

In 2009, 1,695 local residents from Dallas and Lincoln Plantations, Madrid, Magalloway, Rangeley, Sandy River, and other towns, as well as visitors from away, utilized health center services. These include routine physicals, chronic and acute medical visits, laboratory services and minor surgery.

The Rangeley Lakes Region is an ideal location to raise a family, retire, or vacation. Our local residents and vacationers enjoy snowshoeing and skiing during the winter months, witnessing the brilliant colors of fall, catching the first salmon and trout of spring, and participating in summer’s swimming and boating adventures. This area of Maine is abundant with lakes, ponds, streams, and thousands of acres of wildlife filled forests.
